From a distance, he looks perfectly finished. Come closer and there is still something green at the edges—sharp, restless, not quite willing to behave. That small imperfection is what makes the composure interesting.
Bright Italian lime cuts cleanly through resinous elemi and dry cardamom, giving the first impression precision without softness. Cedar and spices add structure, but then comes unripe pear—crisp, tart and deliberately unfinished, leaving a green streak through all that control.
Later, the edges begin to darken. Smooth benzoin and warm coumarin settle into leather, while musk keeps everything close to the skin. He never loses the polish completely. He simply lets you see that underneath it, something sharper was there all along.
